Access a dedicated dispersant stockpile for a fast and effective oil spill response across the United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS)
The UK Dispersant Stockpile is strategically located and provides rapid access to approved oil spill dispersants for incidents within the UKCS. This resource offers a critical response capability for spills where dispersion is the most effective mitigation strategy.
The stockpile consists of Slickgone NS, a widely used dispersant approved for use in the UKCS under the relevant regulatory frameworks. We maintain and store all dispersants to industry standards, so they are ready for rapid mobilisation as part of a coordinated response. The service is available exclusively to our members as an enhanced membership coverage option, providing access to dispersant expertise, operational support, and technical guidance to ensure the most effective application in response to an oil spill.
This strategically positioned stockpile, coupled with the use of our dedicated aerial dispersant application capability and expert operational guidance, enhances oil spill response efficiency and environmental protection efforts across the UKCS.
