As a Preparedness Advisor, Tom oversees all African English-speaking countries, working closely with existing and new customers, stakeholders, and industry partners. Tom is passionate about seeking new relationships and strengthening existing ones to drive preparedness efforts to ensure customers are fully equipped to respond effectively during an incident.
With a deep understanding of country-specific challenges within the region, Tom provides tailored guidance to enhance customers' operational readiness. Having spent the past six years at OSRL, he has developed extensive expertise in the oil and gas sector, working across both mature and emerging markets. This experience enables him to promote good practices and implement the latest solutions to support industry growth and preparedness.
Tom has collaborated with operators, regulators, and government bodies to advance spill response knowledge and preparedness across the region. Clear and consistent communication remains at the core of his approach.
