The best way to book OSRL training is through a MyOSRL account. It ensures your company’s membership status is verified—unlocking any eligible discounts—and gives you access to your training records, certificates, and booking history in one place.
A guest checkout option is available for convenience, but please note that without a MyOSRL account, we can’t confirm your membership status and you may miss out on discounted pricing. For the best booking experience and full access to benefits, we recommend creating a MyOSRL account.

All OSRL OPRC courses are based on the IMO Model Courses developed under the International Convention on Oil Pollution Preparedness, Response and Co-operation (OPRC). There is no difference—the term “OPRC course” simply reflects the regulatory foundation, while “IMO Model Course” refers to the structured training standard set by the International Maritime Organization.
Both terms refer to the same globally recognised course content.
-
Due to the course's complexity and relevance to organisational response structure, we typically deliver IMS 300 as a customised training session—often face-to-face—for maximum impact.
-
Pre-learning reduces online time with guided self-study worth 7 hours of course time. You'll complete a knowledge check before attending live sessions.

OPRC (IMO model) course levels reflect a participant’s role in response, not progression. You can choose the level best aligned with your responsibilities.

Some courses, like the Oil Spill Response Management - OPRC Level 3 (IMO Equivalent), include region-specific content tailored to local needs.

OSRL offers four On-Scene Commander - OPRC Level 2 (IMO Equivalent) courses, each designed to meet specific regional and operational needs:
UK (Southampton): 5-day course accredited by the Nautical Institute and MCA (4/4P). Includes river, offshore, and shoreline exercises.
Americas (Florida, USA): 4-day course offered in English and Spanish. Includes intracoastal waterway and shoreline exercises. Accredited by the Nautical Institute.
Singapore (4-day): Focuses on core shoreline operations. Accredited by the Nautical Institute and MPA Singapore.
Singapore (5-day): Offers enhanced practical elements including river and offshore exercises, along with shoreline. Also accredited by the Nautical Institute and MPA Singapore.
All courses follow the same high-quality OPRC Model standard. Your choice will depend on your preferred location, desired exercise types, duration, and accreditation needs.

OPRC (IMO), OPEP and MCA certifications must be refreshed every three years. OSRL recommends refreshing all training within 39 months of completion.
