A message from our CEO
Since 1984, OSRL has grown into the world’s largest industry-funded oil spill response cooperative, with over 300 professionals across 13 bases. Guided by our founding charter, we deliver trusted expertise to help members prepare for and respond to spills worldwide. Through strategic mergers and partnerships, we’ve expanded our geographic footprint and strategic capabilities with notable enhancements subsea well response and wildlife response, including launching the GOWRS Oiled Wildlife Assessment Service in 2022. In 2024, we celebrated 40 years with a refreshed brand and new investments in infrastructure, reinforcing our long-term commitment to global readiness. As the energy landscape evolves, OSRL continues to adapt, supporting our members wherever and whenever needed.
